Kabru makes the strangest face (and Kabru makes so many strange faces to things Laios says these days), before saying, “Not—well. Maybe a little bit. Not that I—just be careful of anyone who propositions you at the wedding, okay? They might want you just for your crown, not for you.”
“Why don’t they just say that, then,” Laios can’t help but mutter sulkily.
Kabru rolls his eyes. “Because that’s not how politics works.”
Laios sighs. “I really hate politics…”
“I know, that’s what you have me for,” Kabru replies, a small smile on his lips.
Or in the midst of helping plan his sister's wedding, Laios realizes that his feelings towards Kabru might be more complicated than he had thought.

Summary
Joe and Cherry run into a problem. Conspiracy theories have started to surface in some fan forums of "S" that the two of them are secretly dating one another.
Both of them agree that the idea is absurd, but can't agree on which one of them would be the better boyfriend if they actually were dating. So they decide to have a competition, to see who can be the better romantic partner when pitted up against one another.

Summary
Kabru decides that Laios needs an heir to secure his line of succession and invites ten ladies to get to know the king. Meanwhile Kabru and Laios maintain their friendship through a game. Kabru POV. Canon compliant unless I forgot something.
It had been three years since Laios had taken the throne, and people were beginning to talk. He needed a line of succession. The sooner, the better. As the first true king in a thousand years, it seemed important that the new system be a traditional one. One that didn't push boundaries and tensions between factions that were already strained. The simplest solution was biological, and for that, Laios needed a bride. Kabru had been the one to argue all of these facts.
