Steve is about to pick up the phone when he hears a sharp rapping at the door.
"Hellooo? Anyone home?"
A pause. Then, softer,
“Shit, did I get the address wrong? I can’t tell the difference between the way Robbie writes her fours and sevens. Damn that girl and her messy handwriting.”
Steve doesn’t even bother to check the peephole, and he swings the door wide open with a huge grin on his face, a clever line on his tongue, and a name on his mind;
Eddie Munson.

uhh not technically my first fic but the first thing I'm posting on ao3 because I'm a slow writer and yet I got sucked into this monstrosity of an annual trend..
the prompt list is just me stealing prompts I like from other prompt lists, so it's really not consistent with anything out there probably

On his way back to Earth Grace starts to notice that things are not all they seem and he might not be as alone as he first thought. Whether his new guest is a God, an alien, a human or something in the middle, Grace is certain that first contact (the second time around) is not going as smoothly as he could have hoped for.
OR Simon thinks Grace is an angel, Grace thinks Simon is a God, they both get weird about it.

He’s glaring because he has no other option than the one currently at his disposal, and it’s an option he despises with every piece of his wretched heart. But the sun is climbing higher and he needs to get outside to check on the garden. He grits his teeth and forces the words out.
