Summary

NOTE: Yes, if you're wondering, this is the fic that was potentially plagiarized by the actual writers in the episode "Frighteningale" (9-27-2018). No, I'm not kidding. This crackfic is now at least partially canon. You're welcome.

This is INCREDIBLE! Gabriel's POV is so good and his growing horror after he dons Emilie's ring and slowly figures out that Adrien is obeying him mindlessly and that he is a sentimonster and WHY would Emilie ever do that and does he know her at all?? and he still loves her but does he?? And eventually letting her go in case bringing her back would destroy Adrien, and instead moving forward with a relationship with Nathalie and still trying to get the Miraculouses so he could Adrien into a real person safe from having to mindlessly obey anyone in possession of the ring or being accidentally unmade. Gah! It's so good and funny and heartfelt!
AN: So I think I found a way to make the reveal worse for Adrien?

Hahahahaha mix of prose and chat!fic. The first prose chapter is great! I loved the details, like the different things each kid sees as they enter the party.

"I still don't get why you're going through all this just to get me into some fancy party.""I suppose you could consider yourself something like my ticket in," he answered with a mischievous grin. Before Danny could ask what he meant, the elevator doors opened to reveal an enormous party.
It took up the entire floor, rock climbing against one wall, a private DJ against another, food lined up on countless tables end to end, a robe course above the room, and a big gold banner hanging up with the words 'Happy Birthday Adrien' in elegant black cursive.
"This is a birthday party?" Danny cried, incredulously.
Vlad rubbed his hands together, still smiling. "A birthday party containing some of the richest and most influential inventors, businessmen, and designers the world has to offer. Ten figure minimum annual income, by personal invitation only, and must bring a suitably aged child."
