Summary
Vegas Theeranpanyakul sets on a weird journey to find a name for his new cat (that he has yet to find). With quite a lot of time on his hands, he heads to his local coffee shop where names are always being called out for one's order. He doesn't find what he's originally there for, but rather he finds something else that he didn't think he needed in his life.
---
or Vegas meets Pete, a (cute) coffee shop employee and impulsively asks him to live with him.

Summary
Vegas’s fingers curled under Pete’s chin, tilting his face up so that their eyes met. The intensity in Vegas’s gaze was overwhelming, a mix of desire, obsession, and something darker, something that made Pete’s heart race in a way that scared him. “You’re mine,” Vegas said again, and this time, it wasn’t a threat or a declaration—it was a fact, spoken with such certainty that it made Pete’s breath catch in his throat.
He didn’t want to believe it. He didn’t want to give in. But the darkness in Vegas’s eyes, the possessiveness in his touch, told Pete that maybe, just maybe, there was no escape from this.
And that terrified Pete more than anything else.

Summary
He glared at him but he finally backed off of Pete and started to walk away when Pete began to call out, “Vegas.”
“Don’t.”
“Let me help you.”
“I don’t need your help, bodyguard.” He said the last word with a disgusted tone.
Not knowing what else to say because clearly Vegas wasn’t taking the hint, Pete rubbed his face and shouted out, “You asshole!”
That made Vegas halter in his step. Slowly, he faced Pete again and asked, “What did you say?”
He didn’t hesitate and enunciated, “You asshole.”
------
Or Pete is assigned to help Vegas out on a mission to gather intel. However, a small incident occurs that has the potential to affect their newfound relationship.
