So, as has been explained to him by Dmitri, while the person assigning what medicines Gabe gets is human, his attendant—his nurse, as he'd jokingly called it, though Dmitri had pulled a face and said I forgot how attached you are to things like that when he did on one particularly feverish night—is a HUX-A7 unit. Especially given nobody knows where his fever, vomiting, and nausea are coming from, much less whether or not they're infectious.
All the better. Gabe knows how to handle those things better than he knows how to handle other people.
