A dead prince begins to breathe again on the burning funeral pyre that was meant to turn him to ashes, and his brother carries him out of the flames.
Seven of the men that fought in the Trial yesterday morning are unknowingly chosen as champions of the Seven, to begin the fragmented process of understanding just what it means to be Seven Who Are One.

Or: What if the Seven saved Baelor, and then put him, Maekar, Daeron, Dunk, Lyonel, Raymun and Robyn Rhysling in a group that can mind meld/body share with one another? All for the purpose of eventually saving Westeros, of course.

Summary
“Ah!” exclaims the one with grey hair and a fresh face, mole decorating the corner of his eye. He’s pointing directly at Aran. “Inarizaki!”
The five other boys that accompany the rudely pointing guy all turn their heads at once to stare into the elevator where Aran, his friends, and his best friend’s grandmother are all standing, dumbfounded.
The elevator doors begin to close.
The guy Aran’s pretty sure is Karasuno’s captain lunges for the hallway button at the same time that Shinsuke’s hand darts out to press the open button from their side. The doors abruptly stop in place with a worrying clank, and then they very slowly start to slide open again. The tall guy with the bedhead looks like he’s holding back more laughter, though his face turns constipated when the shortest one in their group punches him in the side and hisses at him to shut up.
Yumie-baachan chuckles softly in the awkward pause, but nobody moves until Shinsuke asks, “Y’all gonna come in?”

At age thirty two Baelor is a king in need of a consort.Or: Daeron II's children are born in the opposite order. Aegon IV lives an extra ten years and made that Maekar's problem, specifically, by mating his teenaged grandson against his will. After the Great Spring Sickness Baelor must remarry and father more children. His brother is the only person he can imagine doing that with.

the one where theyre bith alphas, and baelor spends a long time not being able to name the why for how possessive he gets over maekar, and how much he misses him when maekar's not there.
the "there you are" fic where he looks for maekar in every room and pokes and prods and soothes until maekar relents and his scent is recognizable as him and him alone again, the way baelor knows best.
