“Thanks,” Megumi said, looking anywhere but the pink haired boy’s face. He was absolutely mortified. He was grateful too, but mostly mortified. “I’m fine now.” he exhaled and nodded.
The boy didn’t look convinced. He held a hand near Megumi’s shoulder, as if ready to catch him again. Warm brown eyes gazed at Megumi.
Megumi wheezed once more, and scowled, ashamed.
“You sure, dude?” His voice was soft, like he was trying not to scare some baby animal. “You’re bleeding. Like, everywhere. And… you almost face-planted again.”
Megumi huffed.
“This isn’t my first race. I’m okay.”
Fuck, Megumi was so embarrassed. Oh god. Him and his weak-ass legs.

Calling it a dream about laundry is hopelessly inadequate. Yoichi’s fingers toy with the soft, short hair at the base of Rin’s neck, soothing him even as he fumbles for words.
“Marry me,” Rin says instead.
It doesn't matter who fell first. It doesn't matter that they'd both fallen so hard that they might as well have cracked their skulls open on the Tokyo sidewalks. Nothing matters except for the fact that they have each other.
