Meeting up with an online friend is pretty common these days. It’s not something Xiao has ever done before, but he’s not the most sociable person; he was on a years-long lurking streak before he met Venti.
Still, he’s gotten to know Venti well enough by now that it shouldn’t be all that strange to meet up with him under more…typical circumstances.
He’s been standing on Venti’s porch for a few minutes now, overnight bag slung over his shoulder as he tries to work up the courage to finally ring the doorbell. The reality that they’re not only going to have sex, but kinky sex, still hasn’t quite sunk in.
A part of him still can't believe he's actually going through with it.

The word had come quiet and rough from his throat. A nickname. It only intensified Xiao’s previous desire to be held by Venti. 𝘓𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘥.
“What–” Xiao shivered as he felt Venti suck a mark onto his neck, then press his tongue against it immediately afterward as if to soothe it. “What does that word mean–”
"𝘋𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨," Venti murmured, now smiling at his throat. “I’m calling you 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨, Xiao.”

“Ah, you look so beautiful like this, Xiao,” Barbatos – Venti in this form, though Xiao has never been able to look at the Anemo Archon and see anyone other than simply Barbatos, the god who found him so long ago – “Alatus, Xiao, my precious little songbird…”
Each word is punctuated by a kiss down his body, laid bare at the base of the enormous tree at Windrise, beneath a statue of the very Archon who worships him as though he himself is divine. Anyone could see him here, if it weren’t for the barrier of Anemo that Barbatos has built around them, keeping him safe and secure in a way he only ever feels around the Anemo Archon and few others.
It is not a contract that keeps them together, and though it baffles Xiao, he will greedily accept whatever Barbatos will give him.
