Summary
A hypothetical concept in which there are two bodies of arbitrary positive mass that move in circles about their center of mass under the influence of gravity and the motion of a third body does not affect the other two bodies.
The problem? The arrival of a new attending, one Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi, forces Robby Abbot and herself to grapple with personal issues that have been buried for years resurfacing. The three bodies? Those previously stated names. Read to see them move about, around, and against each other.

Summary
When Dr. Robby leaves Pittsburgh on his sabbatical, Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi inherits his department, his board, and the particular problem of Dr. Jack Abbot - who keeps showing up, keeps saying exactly the right amount, and keeps noticing things she has spent her entire career making sure nobody notices.
She has managed her absent seizures since she was five years old. She has managed the weight of Dasht-e-Barchi since May 2020. She has managed everything, always, alone - because managed is the only thing she knows how to be.
Abbot doesn't ask her to be anything. That's the problem.
A slow burn in twelve weeks, two people, and all the things that go unsaid until they can't be.

Summary
Robby didn't go on his sabbatical, but that didn't stop Jack Abbot and Baran Al-Hashimi from acting like he wasn't in the ED with them anyway. Now Robby's jealous (of who, or what, he's not sure) and he doesn't plan on dealing with it—until he's unceremoniously forced to.

Summary
When you pull into Baran’s driveway, you notice her car isn’t there. You knock on her door, and it’s only a moment before she opens it.
“Hey, your car okay?” you ask, stepping through the threshold. She closes the door behind you with a soft click. “It’s not in —” You don’t finish because she’s backed you against the door and kissed you, taking a deep, slow, centering breath against you.
