Summary
Awkwardly, Hax tries to pry off the taped gag from Altoid, and the other bats him away with an indignant noise, waving his arms up and down in the general direction of Andronicus.
"What??" Hax says, very loudly. "Altoid, I literally cannot hear you. I think they like, deafened me or something."
Next to Hax, Andronicus stumbles, nearly sending the both of them crashing into the ground as Hax laughs wildly, pushing the other off of him. In his peripheral, Hax can see Altoid put his head in his hands, and he shakes harder with laughter.

Summary
"Guys shut up, no, seriously, no metagaming," Saps mumbled, pacing around in the vacation home. Which they were supposed to have placed a trap in a day ago, if Saparata hadn't collapsed and fragmented half his memories seconds before he left.
Saparata was currently on house arrest because he attempted to throw himself off the hill to see if he could die.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Fluixon snapped, feeling the situation slowly slip from his fingers and die a messy, pointless, Saparata-induced death. "Who are you even talking to?!"
Or: 2.7 Saparata ends up in his 2.5 counterpart's body at a very crucial moment in the plot.

Summary
"...you're right." The words sound like they're forced out from behind gritted teeth, tinged with a bitterness Saps has never had before.
Flux tilts his head, just so he can make Saparata wait. He looks like he wants to scream, and Flux wonders how he didn't see this. If he's been hiding this whole time, or if he's lying to get Fluixon's trust. How curious.
But if Saps isn't truthful, then he's infallibly noble, optimistic, trustworthy.
Or: Saparata joins the Conspiracy. It doesn't go well for anyone, really.
