Summary
Dragons were an insular, reclusive species. Hunts of old drove them to the brink of extinction, leaving the few remaining clans with a well earned wariness, if not outright fear, of the world at large. They stayed hidden, either far from prying in the wildest regions of the world or in plain sight. Most of the rest of the world knew very little about them, aside from the sparse rumors and folklore that remain from days of old, and the clans were happy to keep it that way. The less the outside world meddled in their affairs, the happier they were.
That said, one thing was well known and documented about dragons: possessiveness was written in their blood.
Or, John "Soap" MacTavish is a dragon. Task Force 141 is his hoard. This changes everything, and nothing at all.

Summary
Five years after the world was ravaged by a zombie outbreak, what remains of humanity has learned how to survive in their new apocalypse. In their new normal, the dead wander the earth with insatiable appetites, families have been ripped apart, citizens have been abandoned, and the Reds thrive amongst the chaos.
When an unfortunate run-in with some Reds and an inconveniently-timed thunderstorm forces Soap to separate from Price and Gaz during their hunting session, he finds himself washed up on the doorstep of a wooden cabin. Only he's not alone.
Soap should probably be more worried about the masked stranger with a furrowed brow pointing an arrow at his chest, but there's something intriguing about him, secrets hidden deep within his heart and walls impenetrably built up. And even more shocking is the fact that the stranger allows him inside to take refuge.
What starts at that moment which neither realize is the beautiful unfolding of a love story between two people who were meant to find each other. It's about learning to trust again, the power of forgiveness, finding hope in the world that has ripped everything from you already, and falling into the arms of someone who will love you unconditionally.

Summary
Ghost knows he's destined to spend the rest of his life going through the motions of being the sharp, shadowy knife those in power use to backstab one another. He's made peace with it. He's a professional. His newest contract, at least, seems promising. Taking down the head of the Royal Guard? A welcome challenge.
Sir John "Soap" MacTavish is far too busy to be fucking around in the frozen arse-end of Anfēowern. He's got an entire team of knights to direct, a king and a prince who are hell bent on making his life as difficult as possible, and an incoming visit from the king of a neighbouring country that will surely plunge his next few months into complete chaos. He’d love a day off. Fuck, he’d love five minutes off.
Fate must have a dark sense of humour, because Ghost and Soap are about to collide.
