Poe’s eyes dart nervously around the room. He’s never been good at groupworks and he’s always been bad at approaching people to pair up with him. He watches as everyone partners and waits. We’re at an even number, someone’s bound to not have a groupmate, right?
He’s waiting for the other person who will be left out after everyone has suited up when he hears the guy beside the windows turn down an offer.
“Nah, this dude’s my partner already,” the guy who’s wearing a hat inside, which is rude, points to him. “Right, Poe?”
“Uh… yes.” Poe answers the guy he most definitely does not know.
