“What song is that?” Riko asks, hauling onto her knees. Iori drops into a crouch in front of her and offers the plastic bag that he’d looped around his wrist. At the same time, he stops whistling, frowning as he considers the question. He’d been whistling sort of unconsciously as he came in, and completing the last two notes of the line, he realises he doesn’t recall exactly what the name is, or even the lyrics… Must’ve been one of those songs his mom used to sing him to sleep with, back before everything happened.
“Not sure,” Iori admits. Riko accepts the bag in both hands and sets it gingerly on the floor in front of her. She must be hungry, but she doesn’t rifle through the contents immediately, instead dropping to sit crosslegged. Her hands fold over her ankles. Iori tilts his head, then sits down in front of her, mirroring her position. “...Can you whistle?”

Agott felt neutral about her hair, but the comparisons to her mother made her chest swell with pride. And yet she felt a sharp tug between her ribs whenever the words ‘Adina’s daughter’ fell from someone’s lips. Back then, she refrained from commenting on it — she did not bother to correct them. They would learn her name soon enough, when she’d don her own uniform and cap.

He drops his chopsticks in a dramatic fashion, broth splashing on the table as one bounces in the half-eaten ramen, and tilts his head back like he can’t stand to look at her when he says this.
“Team 7,” he mumbles. “Team 7 is my type.”
Sakura waits a beat for more. Nothing.
“That’s it? Your crush on me wasn’t exactly a secret, and honestly, your weird thing with Sasuke wasn’t subtle, either.”
He covers his face with his hands. “All of Team 7.”
One revealing conversation later, Sakura immediately regrets her promise to not set Naruto up anymore. One visit with the Hokage later, she really regrets it.

Fu tucks the doll back away in his pocket, wincing. “Hii…”
“Don’t ‘Hii’ me. Get over there before I make you.”
He whimpers but slides off the stool anyway, legs wobbling as he makes his way over. He sits on the seat next to him, too close maybe, but if he doesn’t commit, he’ll run back to the bathroom to cry.
The man’s scent hits him, aftershave, vaguely spicy cologne. Fu opens his mouth, panics, and blurts the first thing that comes to mind.
“I, uh—I like your… hair.”
The man turns his head slowly, one sharp eyebrow arching in mild surprise. His eyes meet Fu’s, assessing without judgment. “That so?” His voice is deep, gravel smoothed with a hint of warmth, rumbling through Fu’s ears.
Fu nods.

He forgets how to breathe, and Hii shouting in his ear, telling him to press up against the wall and to let him take over, isn’t helping him relearn.
A head pops through his window. The individual has a hoodie slung over their head, but Fu can see long, heavy wicks hang out from underneath. They obscure the person's face, and Fu thinks that he’s surely going to die.
“Heyy, I had a feeling this was the right window!” An unexpectedly familiar voice exclaims. “What's up, Fu?”

Post Information-Broker Arc. Jabber breaks into Fu's room at night via Zodyl's imaginary request and tries to bring him back to the Raiders. Things don't go as planned, but he most definitely doesn't leave empty-handed.
