They all think it's about her, and nothing she says can convince them otherwise. It's not even canon; she can't use any I-read-the-book powers to tell them what to do next.
There has been a grevious mistake, and it can only be solved by returning things back to normal, with her at home and them resuming their non-existence. If only they would stop following her.
