Summary
It makes Leo want to push. He always pushes.
There’s… cracks, in there. A tentative space Leo has fit himself in-between that threatens to break more and more with every time he pushes a little too far. But he’s confident that space doesn’t break break, never will, not as the marble of Izumi Sena too stubbornly refuses to bend under what seems to be the weight of all of his Leo-shaped regrets. Regrets Leo has just recently ripped from his hands in the kindest acts of devotion to Knights and punishment for himself that he could manage.
Was it not enough? Izumi certain looks at him like it wasn’t. He looks like it never will be.
He scoffs. “No, I don’t. I don’t think anyone can understand a creature as weird as you.”
But he doesn’t look at him when he says those words. He looks far away instead, eyes glued to that pesky little screen Leo wants to snatch from his hold like all the many self-inflicted sacrifices he thought he already took from Izumi. The words ring hollow.
”Well, I guess that’s fair.” He concedes. “I don’t really get Sena either.”
