It's not jealousy. Adrian is adamant about that. They are actually insisting that it’s not any emotion at all. Not even dislike. They are simply completely uninterested in anything that concerns “the human”.
Rocky believes them. Adrian has always been the level-headed one out of the two of them. They are too logical to be jealous. They acknowledge that Grace and Rocky have a special bond after everything they went through together and also understand that none of that will ever pose a threat to their relationship.
Neither are they heartless or ungrateful. They know that Grace is the only reason that Rocky is back at all, the only reason their star has stopped dying. Adrian has told Rocky again and again that they are grateful and happy and wish the alien no ill will. They even helped with the construction of the biodome.
And yet they have no desire to get to know Grace.

Summary
Erik Lehnsherr has been 'fighting for mutant rights' for the last couple years. Some might call it terrorism, but those people were narrow-minded. Unfortunately, this means that when Magda Maximoff died, no one was able to locate him to let him know that his children were without a guardian. Charles Xavier was selected as their foster parent instead, and had been doing an excellent job for the past year. Erik is back now and has no intention of being separated from his children, but working together for the kids is easier said than done.
In a different situation— some anonymous bar in some overpopulated city, perhaps— Erik would absolutely have been interested. He was slender and looked about Erik’s age, but his eyes took up the majority of his face and were almost alarmingly blue. His dark curls looked like they were made for a hand to fist in. His anger was nearly palpable, sparking off him in waves that Erik could physically feel. Under any other circumstance, he’d be attracted, would have immediately started things working to get the pretty little Englishman back to his place.
Not this circumstance.
“You will not,” the Brit snarled at Erik, “Not be taking custody of my children.”

Charles’ head finally snapped up and turned from the attention of his friends. Erik felt frozen in place as Charles’ eyes sought Erik’s out, confused and merely mildly interested at first. Then his expression cleared, wiped clean, replaced with a look of complete and utter shock.Erik. His voice, his mind, up against Erik’s and almost painfully vivid as he stared at Erik from across the room, his wine glass tumbling from his hand.

He's standing in the kitchen, cradling what appears to be a gallon of coffee close to his chest as if to protect it from Loki's villainy. "No! No, no, no! You aren't allowed to make jokes that I would make! You're evil! Be silent and brooding!"
"Oh, I'm sorry, is my existence bothering you?"
"Yes," Stark says, "there are actually few things right now that bother me as much as you do."
OR: in between the "puny god" scene and his sentencing on Asgard, Loki gets caught in a time loop. He'd his refund now, please.
(Odin is a shitty parent, the Avengers are confused, Loki is just trying not to go even more insane than he already is, and the author is starting to wonder why she has so much dialogue from these movies memorized.)

He takes a half-step backwards, fear tinging the edge of his common sense, and asks Heimdall to take them back (to take them away from this monster).
(At least, this is what is supposed to happen. Whether or not it does--well. Time is a tricky thing. Loki is a tricky god. He's fairly confident it'll all work out, in the end.)

Summary
Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr are famous on campus. Or infamous, really. Their heated rivalry is well known amongst both the staff and students of their university, and it was a common occurrence to see the two of them duking it out all over campus.
When the university tells them to either play nice or say goodbye to their degrees, Charles and Erik decide to give them exactly what they asked for, and more.
So, instead of screaming insults at each other across campus, they shout bad pick-up lines at each other instead – something that everyone decides is infinitely worse.
