Summary

Summary
In order to force/inspire ourselves to write prompts, we started creating challenges for ourselves. How many odd combo requests could we tackle? How many pieces can we write in an hour? Drabble Battles was one the challenges that became an event for us. It was a way to clear the inbox faster and to push ourselves in fun/new/interesting ways. Sometimes we were fruitful; sometimes.... not so much. It's all in making an attempt, right?

“I’m tired,” the little girl complains, skating from the group to hug Hollander’s knees.
Hollander huffs a quiet laugh. “Grandma will be here soon,” he says, picking her up, sitting her perfectly on his hip. She lays her head on his shoulder, and they look so alike, it's startling.
“Is that—Hollander,” Ilya says with disbelief. Hollander freezes, turning to look at Ilya. His brown eyes are wide, and he looks just as surprised as Ilya feels. “Is that your daughter?”
__Shane abruptly quits hockey and disappears off the face of the earth without a trace. When Ilya moves to the Centaurs, the last person he expects to see is Shane teaching a bunch of kids how to skate and play hockey with his daughter in tow.

That morning, Rose had been forcing Shane to demonstrate with his hands how large Ilya’s dick was, wheedling him for all sorts of details that had made him flush beet-red and nearly lose his ability to talk. Now Ilya was here, in front of him, contractually obligated to be stitched to his side day in and day out for the next year, at least. The thought was enough to make Shane dizzy all over again.
