Summary
The world is heating up and so are Caitlyn’s feelings for the world’s most renowned climber. Caitlyn thinks about it (she shouldn’t) but as she watches footage from Jinx’s previous documentaries, she sends Mel an email requesting more information on the famous rock climber: Violet R Cane.

[Video fades into view: Vi is standing wearing gear prepared for the arctic climate. She stares straight into the lens.]
Jinx: (Off camera) What made you accept this position?
Vi: (Begins swinging her arms) Well, they needed a climber—so, (she points to herself with her thumbs) That’s me.
Jinx glances up from the screen. She eyes her sister before smirking, “Tell me the truth, why’d you accept this position?”
Vi relaxes, thinking Jinx stopped filming, “Caitlyn’s super hot.”
Jinx saves the clip.

Summary
When it came to Zaun’s nightlife, there were two sides to every cog. There was tricking on one side, and fucking on the other. Mostly for pay, if not for pleasure. The odds could spin and spin, but chances are most late-night encounters were landing on either side.
Anything other than that, well. Those kinds of meetings were left behind velvet curtains for good reason.
Love didn’t belong here, not on these streets. Not in this life. There were a lot of rules Vander drilled into their brains before he passed, but it seemed this was the only one he missed.

I love the way this fic is written. So tender and so full of yearning. The dynamic of Vi feeling guilty for her attraction towards Cait and the way she tried to suppress was so interesting to read. I got hung up on this quote: "Vi didn’t really know how to give kisses, she only knew how to steal them. As with most things in her life, when she wasn’t sure she was allowed to have it." godddd

Caitlyn smirks at me in response. “It’s a bit soon to be asking me for favors, isn’t it?” she asks teasingly. “I haven’t even started the job yet.”

I really enjoyed this one!!! I don't usually read angst at all because I'm a softie, but man. It was worthy. I was full-on sobbing by the end but I think it was because it felt weirdly personal in a way I don't actually understand lol but I loved them so much!!

Summary
Caitlyn hated many things: the busy city, her ignorant parents, and complicated politics. Her love for art and nature guided her to the outskirts of urban life, where she painted and protected her peace.
Violet, on the other hand, was tied to the city through her dangerous work. Although Caitlyn desperately wanted to stay away and overlook the clues that revealed her dangerous lifestyle, giving in to Vi was inevitable.
On the night of the Supermoon, the last thing Caitlyn expected was for Vi to break into her home. And she definitely did not expect her self control to disappear (so quickly, at least).
