Wise’s eyes darted about, taking in the group. There was yet another blonde woman, casually lounging by a truck, and then there was the lone man of the group, with dark hair and eyes hidden behind sunglasses, casually playing with a lighter in his hand.
The man sniffed and tensed. All the relaxation that he seemed to exude evaporated in an instant, and even hidden behind sunglasses, Wise could tell he had locked in on him.
