Summary
Instead of going for the polos and khakis, he started heading for the Levi's section or asking to go thrifting instead.
The shock on Chrissy's face when he started wearing a shirt with a demon on it, bold black letters spelling out Hellfire Club on it.
It surprised Chrissy like no other.
She knew Jason was controlling, manipulative, wanting everyone to fit into his picture perfect narrative and his narrative only.
But she never knew her son was a whole different person beneath the pastels and button ups.
He even started growing out his hair, the golden blonde tufts stopping at his jaw.
Clearly he had an influence, and it wasn't until after he joined this "D&D Club."
So, Chrissy made the decision to keep a close eye on him.
She was gonna figure out who was picking up her kid from home and bringing him back.
Who was gifting him all these metal band tour
t-shirts that she keeps finding in the laundry, which he never went to?Who was turning her son into a completely different person?
Today would be the day she found out.

Summary
It brought her peace how much she didn't care about Jason's acts of infidelity anymore.
What once left her in tears, now brings her comfort, relief, freedom to go to her real escape from reality.
Anything you want, anything you need, a helping hand or just someone to talk to, I'm here, always, a dark voice whispered against the skin of her neck.
Chrissy shivered at the memory.
It seemed like it was just yesterday when she went to her colleague's apartment to vent about her marriage, and left with shaky legs, a hoarse voice, and a happy spirit.
She could still feel his hands on her thighs, the chunky silver bands digging into her skin as he touched her in places that Jason never could.
God this was painful.

Summary
It was only one person that Chrissy knew that laughed like that.
No.
Her stomach dropped to her ass, it couldn't be, no way she just coincidentally picked a seat beside him.
"Oh fuck off, Gareth." He said into a deep chuckle, oh god.
He turned his body in his stool, facing forward as he picked up his glass, gulping down the rest of his drink.
Chrissy peeked at his face from the corner of her eye, seeing the statue-like nose, the pierced ears, the plush lips.
God.

Summary
It should've felt wrong, she should feel guilty about preparing herself for a man that wasn't her own.
Specifically the man that her boyfriend hates.
But she just couldn't bring herself to.
She was 18, graduation was getting close.
She needed that freedom that her chest ached for, she needed to finally live.
So, she pushed back on her jacket and zipped up her backpack before leaving the locker room and exiting the school through the gym doors.
She will live.

Summary
Eddie leaned back against the wall, allowing the whiskey to take over his body.
He really wasn't supposed to be here, but she wanted him to be so fucking bad, how could he say no to her?
Besides, he wasn't gonna pass up seeing Chrissy dance in that tight little red long sleeve dress that was practically painted on her skin, the thought of her warming his body… or was it the liquor?
