Luz knows that Witches have different vocalizations from humans, however one Grimwalker is one difference. Hunter still grows like a normal Witch though and Luz knows he's made the same sounds she's heard from Gus, Willow, Amity and every other witch she knows!
But she's never heard him purr. As his friend, she thinks that should change.

"Rivendell on the outside was a kind place. The pristine buildings with teal roofs and wooden beams, a brilliant castle in the distance and dainty snow falling down into the streets.
On the inside, Rivendell is cruel. Everyone knows that the outside is just a front, a shell of what it used to be before their two gods clashed. Aeor and Exor ripping up the foundations of the elves’ homes and leading to bloodshed. Conall destroyed while Alinar created, so the story went. Two brothers destined to forever cause the other to bleed."

Scott and Xornoth are the Antler Crowned princes of Rivendell, though one of them is certainly not treated as such. Try as they might, Xornoth can't escape their bad luck.
At least their brother is there to defend them.
