Summary
"Veritas, when were you going to tell me you were going to get married?"
Silence and tension filled to room with just one question from Aventurine. Only then does Ratio lift his gaze to meet his. Even with a stone cold face, Aventurine manages to see the |slight hesitation in his eyes before he speaks.
".. Who told you?"
"Don't answer me with a question. And does that really fucking matter right now?"
Aventurine's voice gets louder and echoes throughout the room. He's angry. Mad. Hurt.
In pursuit of research about the history of the Avgin tribe, Dr. Veritas Ratio has to have unlimited access to Aventurine's home planet. But in order to do so, he has to have a legal relation to one of the influential people of Sigonia. He decides to formally marry one of the minister's daughters. Afraid of conflict, he didn't inform the blond gambler. Aventurine does find out though, but only on the night before Dr. Ratio's wedding.
