What he wasn't expecting was for the last-minute music head replacement to come crashing into his life, and change everything.

Summary
He sometimes imagines how it would feel to be in Munson's orbit. Sometimes imagines where his words would be. Hopes they'd curl along Munson's cheek bone where Steve could brush his thumb so easily. Or in the junction between his neck and shoulder, a place where Steve could drop kisses. Or along the curve of his hip, where Steve's palm could settle.
None of it matters because Steve never says anything.

Summary
Sometimes Eddie forgets how much time has passed since he first showed up on the trailer’s doorstep, how much he’s grown since then. But as he takes in Wayne’s features, he finds a reminder in the new lines he discovers on his uncle’s face, little signs of age that make his heart grow and sink at the same time.
It hits him then, out of nowhere, how much of his life Wayne has given up for Eddie. To raise him and help him become the man he is today. How much love he poured into his upbringing, despite all the trouble he put him through. (...)
And it makes him wonder, how a man who has so much love to give never ended up with a family of his own.
"Can I ask you something?”
Wayne looks up from his paper with raised brows, waiting for Eddie to continue.
“Did you ever regret not having kids?"

Eddie had been planning his Ren Faire outfit for weeks. The thrifted poet shirt, the hand-embellished vest, the leather bracers he'd tooled himself. He looked good and he knew it.
What he hadn't planned for was the blacksmith.
Shirtless, sweat-soaked, and hammering molten steel like it was nothing, the man was, without question, the most devastatingly attractive human being Eddie had ever laid eyes on.

When Eddie gets a message on instagram from an account claiming to be the famous pop-star Steve Harrington, he knows immediately it's a catfish. He's not dumb. The account has no pictures and people like Steve Harrington don't just randomly DM guys like Eddie.
Still. What would be the harm in letting it play out? It's not dangerous if he knows he's being catfished. No, if he knows about it, then it's basically like a fun little roleplay. No harm, no foul.
