Summary
A modern, no-demons AU in which the Kamaboko squad, the Butterfly Girls, and (some of) the Hashira are high school and college students living in a (relatively) modern-day Tokyo suburb, dealing with first love, friendship, and family. An episodic look into Inosuke and Aoi's relationship as they grow together with background development of other characters.

Summary
Kinktober and other smut-related prompts for my favorite ship, set within the larger universes of "Does This Mean...?" (my attempt at a post-canon yet canon-compliant look into Inosuke and Aoi's first few years as a married couple) plus the modern no-demons AU I envision in "Skipping Steps", in which they're a young college-aged couple in today's world. Will provide context about where each prompt fits within the larger universes with each chapter, organized chronologically. Chapter titles are the prompt and the time period for ease of organization and browsing.
I know I'm late to actually participate, but I wanted to see if the prompts sparked further ideas because I love writing about these two. I mention in my list of headcanons at the end of the big fic that I think these two would be extremely kinky and willing to try a lot of things, so Kinktober prompts are perfect for exploring that more and thinking about what they would and wouldn't enjoy while giving me a chance to delve into ideas I had but couldn't figure out how to include otherwise.
I'm also game to try scenario/prompt requests if anyone has them! For InoAoi or other couples depending on who.

Summary
Context of this Modern AU:
Aoi and Kanao are med school students in the same college together. They’ve been friends since science class in junior high and did clubs together, where they met Shinobu and Kanae. Kotoha is alive and Inosuke is a total mama’s boy but a bundle of energy with a mean competitive streak. He's done various sports throughout his youth, including tumbling/gymnastics, karate, capoeira (one of his favorites), basketball, kendo (another favorite), pretty much anything. Inosuke, Tanjiro, and Zenitsu went to the same elementary school together. Tanjiro's mom Kie was Kotoha's first friend and helped her leave the cult she joined as a means to get away from her abusive marriage. Aoi and Inosuke have been dating since meeting in an advanced bio class in high school. It was Aoi’s 3rd and final year of school and Inosuke was the only 2nd year student in the class. He absolutely loves science, especially learning about plants and animals, but he just doesn’t want to continue on studying after graduating despite stellar grades. Given his background in a ton of sports, he’s working as a personal trainer while Aoi is in school and they live together with Kanao.

Seriously worth using a translator to read, even if it messed up some scenes (like turning "he pointed at her" into "he pointed a gun at her" lol) and got the pronouns all over the place. A few times I heavily disagreed with something only to apologize and take it back within a couple chapters because the reasons given were absolutely perfect. I think my brain chemistry changed from a specific line in this fic, not even joking.

When your stomach feels weird—like butterflies. You want to be near them, spend time with them, be together.” She hesitates, then adds, “Like Tanjiro and Kanao.”
Inosuke listens carefully, which is already a bit shocking. His expression shifts, thoughtful, his lips pressing together as if he’s rolling her words over in his head.
Aoi starts to relax. Good. He gets it now—
“But that’s how I feel with you.”
