Nimona stayed quiet for a moment, like she was waiting for him to continue. After some awkward seconds, in which he could just feel Bal’s breath on him, that felt heavier than before, the girl just looked at him like he had said that the Director was an alien or something like that. “What do you mean with that? I don’t have a ‘true’ form”.
“What? But you’ve got to have one, right? It’s something that I think everyone would have,” he felt Bal’s breath shiver against his neck and instantly understood that he had said something that he shouldn’t have.
