Shota sneers at the teenager across from him. His defense raises like the hairs on the back of his neck as he glares steadily, ready and waiting for whatever will come from this encounter. He narrows his gaze when the teen shifts; just the thought of sharing this rooftop with Japan's most notorious villain makes his skin prickle. “Deku.”
“Y-yes!” the teenager cries out in relief, taking a small step towards Shota, “I’m Deku! I’m so g-glad you—”
“Deku,” Shota growls darkly, flicking out his capture weapon hastily to snag the villain before he can make his move. He's quick to tug it taut, leaving no room for Deku to escape. “You’re under arrest.”
“I-I’m what?! W-wait!”

im going back to this fic and every time i enjoy it the same its so fucking good. im also just a bit sad that we cannot see what happened after izuku returned- like a few situations from his reality and the alternate one it would have been awesome but i still think that this fanfiction is GREAT!!! I loved it and im a huge fan :))

honestly when i started this fic i thought that it will not be as good as people said it was but i was absolutely WRONG, i really liked how their characters have been portrayed and how their feelings where shown. i wholeheartedly loved how their unsureness was depicted and their decision to just love each other even though it may be seen as wrong–because the only thing that really matters is that they know it’s actually okay and what they feel could never be something thats bad. honestly after reading it the only thing i could criticize is that IT SHOULD'VE BEEN LONGER!!!! it was perfect

Being second was fine.
No, really. Kirishima didn't mind too much, he was used to it. He never really liked standing out. In middle school, he tried to be more outgoing, but there was nothing too special about dark black hair and a not-so-flashy hardening quirk. With the extensive amount of effort he put in, Kirishima even managed to place second during the U.A. entrance exam, and that was more than enough for him. Changing himself didn’t work either because even with red hair and a new persona, it wasn't like he suddenly became number one.
That spot belonged to Bakugou. Confident, brash, explosive. The boy who glowed so brightly to him. First at the entrance exam. First in the sports festival. First in everything.
Especially to Kirishima.
-where Kirishima feels like he will always be placed after Midoriya when it comes to Bakugou
