“Have you given any more thought to, uh…” Here, Sylvain trails off. Clears his throat. Looks to the side and rubs his lips together, seemingly lost in thought.
“Spit it out.”
Something strange lives on Sylvain’s face when he speaks next. Felix has seen it a few times—the unfortunate encounters when Sylvain was caught red-handed messing around with a girl, or the times that suitors would appear for either of them, interested in either a wealthy Alpha or the promises of a Crest. This is unlike any of those times.
