Apparently, when given the ability to feel comfortable about it, Steve was clingy as fuck. He was all wandering hands and his cheek on Eddie’s shoulder and hips pressed into hips and lingering looks and those horrible jock hugs with the slap on the back at the end and, and - Eddie felt like dying.
“I feel like I’m dying, Robin,” Eddie whines; rubbing his hands down his face.
“You’re so dramatic,” Robin says with an eye roll so powerful he’s surprised she doesn’t fall over by sheer force.

Summary
As the bruising and swelling in his face went away, he was more than a little annoyed that his ear situation wasn't also clearing up. Sounds were muffled and sometimes he found it difficult to understand what people were saying to him. It made him feel weak. Useless. But he kept those thoughts to himself.
If he just focused more, it would be easier.

Summary
This is a love story.
It's easy to say that looking back now on the eighteen years have past. time is a strange mistress and she does as she pleases. But to start at the end is a strange place to start any story.
When Rainbow Graveyard made it, performing as his alter ego Munster, should have been everything Eddie had wanted.
But Eddie's not a person who was built to be loved, and doesn't know what to do with the feelings that are growing for his bandmate by the day. The upside down might not have killed him, but Eddie never imagined that being on stage with Steve every night would be the thing that finally finished him off.When he got on stage, Steve's alter ego Knocks took the wheel, and what Knocks wanted was Munster. But that wasn't Steve, Steve was too much, loved too fast and hard, destroying everyone and everything he touched. Including himself.
It was all so much easier before the world of music came knocking on the door, when it was just him and Eddie against the world. Now something unsaid hangs heavy over them both.
But that is the middle of our tale.
