Summary
Chay's favourite theory was that Wik was secretly a vampire. He didn’t eat because he didn’t need food. He avoided humans for fear his desires would take over. He would disappear to go hunting and leave the bloodstains of his victims on his clothes. It was wild but it strangely made a lot of sense. Even some of Wiks songs Chay thought could be interpreted to be less about sex and more about enjoying someone in a different way.
Wik the vampire was also a fantasy for Chay. He spent many nights lying awake waiting for Porsche to get home and dreaming about Wik hunting him, choosing him to be his personal blood bag, snatching Chay away and sucking him dry. The thought of a dangerous yet beautiful creature wanting him and taking him was strangely comforting to the lonely boy.
OR
Kim is a vampire and finds himself obsessed with a human boy, Chay is a human boy who finds the celebrity he's obsessed with to be a vampire.

Kim sunk his teeth in gently but so deeply and Chay moaned making Kim feel like the luckiest vampire on earth. He began to purr as he swallowed, pressing his face down into Chay’s thigh so he could be as close to inside him as he could. He felt drunk on the warm blood filling him up, all thoughts but the eternal presence of Chay gone from his mind and body.
(imagine a tiny kitten thats so enthusiastic about drinking milk their whole face is covered in it, that was my inspiration)

Chay slowly pushed Kim onto his back and brought his calves up snug against his thighs. He kissed all the way up and down each of his boyfriends bent legs. All Kim could do was watch and feel. Chay folded his rope over and wrapped it carefully around Kim's ankle before tying a knot. His hands brushed over Kim's skin as he wound the rope upwards binding Kim’s thigh to his calf, making sure it wasn’t too loose, or too tight. He threaded the rope using his fingers to make a line down the seam of Kim's leg. Kim’s skin softly bulged between the lines of rope and Chay thought it was so beautiful.
“You’re so good for me, hmm?” Chay kissed Kim's knee, “So perfect.”

They walked along the water, found Marina Boulevard, and turned left onto Divisadero. As they did, Daniel felt adrenaline build up in his belly and chest. Armand looked like he might hurt him. Like he wanted to hurt him. But then, Daniel admitted to himself, he might enjoy being hurt. Especially by him. Even if he got beaten up, tied down…at least he would feel something. Those hands and that skin. Maybe pain coming from someone like this would heal him. He’d been into it in the 70s, he remembered. So had Alice.
An inverse do-over of Devil's Minion, set in 2022, in which Daniel doesn't go anywhere. In this AU, Daniel has never met and interviewed Louis, and he also hasn't met Lestat. The focus is Daniel/Armand, but Lestat/Armand and Louis/Armand are mentioned.
