Summary
This story was inspired by a prompt from tictoc134 💗
The narrative builds toward Mulder finally confessing his feelings to Scully, only for her, for reasons of her own, to turn him away.
Unable to reconcile working beside her while processing the emotional fallout, Mulder leaves DC to follow a work-adjacent lead up north. There, he unexpectedly meets someone who helps him gain a sense of clarity.
In his absence, Scully remains in DC, with no word from him for three weeks. She is left sitting with the weight of what she said, fully aware of the hurt she caused, while also dealing with her own sense of loss and the pain of his complete withdrawal.
Note: This is tagged as Mulder/Other (and then of course, MSR). This is a dynamic I previously thought I would never write, but I’ve learned to never say never. 😅 That said, as with my Scully/Other content, this aspect does not dominate the story, but it serves a specific purpose within the larger arc.
Thank you, tictoc134, for the prompt! I really appreciate your patience, especially since you requested this a while ago. I made a few adjustments, but I believe the core idea is still there. I hope you enjoy it 💗🙏🥰

Summary
This is a short post-Orison fic.
After the attack, Scully chooses to remain in her apartment. She is struggling with a profound sense of lost control in every sense of the word: Pfaster’s intrusion, the physical restraint, and even the act of killing him, which leaves her feeling displaced from her own agency. Leaving the apartment feels, to her, like an acknowledgment that Pfaster still holds a presence there, in the space that should be hers.
Mulder, in turn, decides that if she stays, he will stay with her.
That night, Scully attempts to reclaim control in a way that ultimately leaves her feeling even more hollow. In the aftermath, Mulder helps her begin to understand what control actually is, and what it is not.

Summary
In the quiet of a moonlit motel room, Dana Scully finds herself in a space she’s never been before, one that pushes at her boundaries, awakens a curiosity she’s long kept in check, and lets her feel a connection she didn’t realize she was capable of. Stella Gibson is confident, experienced, and magnetic in a way that draws Dana in, teaching her, gently, what it feels like to open herself, to want, to let go. For Dana, it’s a slow, careful exploration of her own desire and vulnerability. For Stella, Dana draws her in in a way no other woman ever has.
Between holding on and letting go, they exist in that in-between space, where restraint meets surrender, where curiosity becomes discovery, where longing becomes something meaningful. It’s an encounter that resonates, not because it promises forever, but because it matters, deeply, in the moment.
Note: This story takes place sometime between Seasons 6 and 7, before Scully and Mulder are official. It’s a PWP with tons of smut, but it also carries emotional weight. This is the first of two chapters, and I was a bit nervous to share it since it’s very different from what I usually post. If it’s well received, I’ll post the second chapter.

Summary
When Scully asked Mulder to help out with the IVF, she didn’t really take into consideration that everyone they knew – friends, family and enemies – would be bound to find out about it.
Set during S6, in a world where M/S kept the X-Files and Fowley has been working in some other division with Spender. And Pendrell hasn’t died. Basically, this is satisfactorily canon-divergent.

Summary
This is a "What if" story... What if Daniel left his wife while Scully was in medical school, and they later married? A couple years into their marriage, Scully is assigned to work with Mulder.
**Scully-centric Story**
As Scully navigates her marriage to Daniel, she finds herself growing closer to Mulder in ways she never anticipated. The bond that forms between them begins to significantly impact her relationship with Daniel. Torn between her loyalty to her husband and the undeniable connection she shares with Mulder, Scully is forced to confront the complexities of her emotions.
⚠️Please read the tags.⚠️Yes, this begins with Scully/Daniel, but the focus isn’t on the early, more intimate years of their relationship. Instead, it’s about Scully’s struggle to balance her marriage while Mulder becomes an increasingly prominent part of her life. Eventually, this shifts to MSR, and yes, there is infidelity. You’ve been warned.

Summary
In this canon-divergent reimagining of Season 8, Mulder’s return marks the beginning of a painful and complex reckoning.
The world he knew has changed—his work has moved on without him, and Scully, now seven months pregnant, stands before him both familiar and achingly distant. Haunted by PTSD and unable to process the trauma of his abduction, Mulder retreats inward, struggling to find his place in a life that no longer feels like his own.
For Scully, his return is a miracle shadowed by heartbreak. She is overjoyed he's alive, but his emotional distance deepens the loneliness she endured during his disappearance. As both grapple with grief, change, and unspoken fears, they must learn to navigate this new chapter together—where patience, healing, and love will be their only way back to each other.
Note: This reimagining of Season 8, offers an alternative path in which Mulder’s emotional distance is explored with greater nuance—granting him the space to confront his trauma and better understand the weight of his experiences. At the same time, it allows Scully to articulate her own heartache and find validation in the profound grief she endured during his abduction, presumed death, and eventual return.
