Summary
"You should know how to do this," the other said, and he was probably right. Atsumu should watch the fingers on his chest, but instead he mapped the other's face that he was finally able to get a good look at. Everything about this man was pure contrast; black hair, black eyes, pale lips and a complexion so light it fit the temperature of his hands.
"Never had ta learn it," he said and watched the perfectly arched eyebrow crowned with two moles twitch in response. "Ya chose me, despite knowin' I probably don't know a lot of the things ya expect me ta know. Why?"
"Because you were the only beta," Kiyoomi answered without hesitation and pulled the knot around Atsumu's neck tight, pulling on it until it was straight and lowered his collar again. He still sounded tired, then he huffed in annoyance and the frown from before was back on his face. "I have enough of alphas."

Summary
Previously titled: what love could feel like (if we let it)
The MLH would never admit it outright, but the message was clear. There had never been a professional omega hockey player, and Shane Hollander wouldn’t be the first.
or
After being booted from the professional hockey world, Shane spent the last seven years hating himself, re-building, and trying to find a way forward.
Meanwhile, Ilya spent the first seven years of his hockey career constructing an impenetrable wall around himself built of detachment, control, and the philosophy of never needing anyone.
When the two are paired together by a system neither of them chose, they’ll have to confront the possibility that love might demand more than either of them are prepared to give.
But some promises were never meant to be forgotten: “See you at the draft.”

Summary
"Do stand up straight, my darling. You were raised with better manners than that."
Perhaps, but Kiyoomi was in no mood to remember them. He had asked, no, begged his parents not to throw him a debutante ball. Nineteen was clearly far too old to be presented into society, and while yes, he was an omega, it was simply unnecessary. But his mother was stubborn and proud, and she heard what she wanted to hear. She was thrilled with her youngest child's presentation, saying there had not been an omega in the family for generations, and it only made sense that her beautiful, doe-eyed youngest son should have the honor.
When Kiyoomi had said, "Mama, please, I should rather kill myself."
His mother had heard, "Mama, please, I should rather kill myself if I do not debut immediately!"

Summary
Shane Hollander is eighteen, second overall draft pick, and quietly, a father. He's learned to carry both versions of himself with practiced ease.
Then there's Ilya Rozanov: first overall, unbothered, and already taking up more space in Shane's head than he has any right to.
Their rivalry is the story everyone wants to tell. Shane is starting to suspect the real one is something else entirely.

Summary
Shane says he’s fine. He always does.
Ilya doesn’t believe him.
When the early signs of pregnancy start showing up — the nausea, the fatigue, the little tremors Shane refuses to acknowledge — Ilya notices everything. He notices the way Shane pushes through practice, brushes off concern, and insists he doesn’t need help. And he refuses to let him do it alone.
Between ice rinks, drives home, and quiet evenings in their apartment, they learn to navigate this unexpected pregnancy together. Ilya takes care of Shane with careful hands and steady insistence, and Shane, despite himself, starts to realize maybe he doesn’t have to handle everything on his own.
Hockey doesn’t stop. Life doesn’t pause. But slowly, stubbornly, the two of them adjust — learning to balance routine, responsibility, and each other, one small, intimate moment at a time.
Because some things — like care, trust, and each other — aren’t optional.
