Scorpius Malfoy and Albus Potter have had a weird start to their year--time-traveling, saving the world from Voldemort's progeny, and trying to reconnect with family sounds overwhelming enough to most teenagers--but it turns out Scorpius might have to deal with one more factor after everything that has happened--his relationship with his dead mother ('Am I growing up to be the kind of man my mum would be proud of?' is a question he asks himself often).

PERFECTION. Everything I wanted in a fic!!! Nice and long, great writing, little unnecessary angst or cringeiness, lots of fluff, slow burn but they get there. Amazing depiction of Hogwarts; felt like it could be a legit HP book (without much adventure). First person POV but well done and not distracting. Very minimal smut but done very tastefully and respectfully and believably. All the thumbs up. 15/10 Will read again! ❤️💕💕💕

Yes yes yes. This. This is the perfect amount of fluff and sweetness and yearning and slow burn and so well written! So sad it’s an orphan account because I’d love to read more from this author! Little-to-no angst, no cringe-inducing bits, some adventure. Really felt like the author had a good handle on the canon castle, which always makes a fic more successful. A very successful getting together fic. Would recommend ❤️💕👍
