He hadn’t picked up on them talking before they said his name, because the cafeteria’s basically sensory hell between the food and the noise so he usually tries to shut down as much as he can.
“I heard he’s a psycho,” another girl says. “He got kicked out of Catholic school.”

Peter never actually sees Ms. Potts much, but he’s vaguely aware that she’s been sick or something, and as a Friendly Neighborhood Stark Intern he feels like he should find out if she’s okay.
He’s gotta admit he would not have put money on where he finds her: locked in what looks like a Hulk-proof glass cage in a sub-basement, with the Human Torch. There’s a Clue joke in this somewhere.
