Rook stood there, blinking in confusion, as she watched the Antivan Crow hurry out of the library. In two minutes, his footsteps returned, and he was holding a bottle of aged red wine.
“Planning on drinking yourself to a stupor?”
“Planning on us to finally have a proper chat. And drinking ourselves to a stupor. If you’d like to, of course.” He smiled, offering her a seat.
Lucanis finds that the Veilguard’s charming and witty leader seems to be a little distant—but only towards him. A chance encounter in the library gives him the opportunity to learn more about one mysterious elven mage.
