    Summary

Tim, stuck on comms due to a broken leg, is attacked by a familiar cowled figure in the Batcave.

The problem? Bruce is still out on patrol.

An alternate Batman stranded far from home should be nothing more than a temporary complication. Instead, Tim finds himself growing close to a Bruce Wayne who has a Dick, a Jason, but no Tim.

And some doors, once opened, are hard to close.

“Nothing,” Dennis said, then backpedalled, because ‘nothing’ is code for ‘something’ and that was sure to stoke the fires of her interest. “I forgot my lunch, he told me off.”

Princess tutted. “Like an angry papa.”

    Summary

There are a lot of ways to survive the Pitt. Most of them are questionable at best and actively dangerous at worst. One of them actually works. Code Whitaker.

Or: how “Code Whitaker” quietly became part of the ER’s standard operating procedure.

    Summary

“Come on, kid,” someone says, rubbing his sternum with bruising fingers. Dennis desperately tries to swat the hands away, the bone already sensitive from the weight of the patient from just moments ago. “Open your eyes, Whitaker, come on. Look at me. Open your eyes.”

He twitches, his limbs flexing in odd and tight angles as he tries to expel the memory of the pain. He tries to speak, not to answer the question but to ask for help, help, anyone, anyone at all, his mom or one his brothers or the youth pastor who gives him bandages when no one is looking, just, God, please, please—

The best Dennis can manage is a deep gurgle from his throat.

When he gets seriously injured after an altercation with a patient, Dennis is forced to reveal parts of himself he would rather keep hidden.
