    Summary

In theory, the plan was simple. In practice, it was doomed from the start.

Rook never intended to join the Inquisition – especially not a decade in the past. But when a mission sends her hurtling through time, she must navigate old enemies, new alliances, and a different kind of face-off with the Dread Wolf, after already defanging him once.

    Summary

Rook stood against the blighted Elven gods and won, but it cost her everything. Now there's only one Elven god left and she would love nothing more than to kill him too. After botching Solas' ritual and binding them both to the Veil, they find themselves in the Fade, incorporeal and inexplicably linked. And their fury might just tear the whole world apart. But if they can begin to understand each other, things might get far more pleasant for them both.

    Summary

He tells her half-truths of the anchor and how she might close the rifts, assures Cassandra that though she is a mage, she is not capable of such extraordinary magic, and laughs genuinely when she asks if Varric is with the chantry. He makes himself fit in.

The world is fractured beyond repair, these people are little more than tranquil, and the fade is locked behind his creation. If this woman, this interrupter with the markings of the all-mother is to be the key to their salvation, so be it. He has made more from less.

    ---

It was never supposed to happen like this, for either of them. But it did, and everything will change because of it.

    Summary

He cherished her too much to use her heart against her, even if it meant breaking his own.

Solas had a rather simple plan: stay away when she got too close, endure the prison, bide his time until the moment came, defeat Elgar'nan.

Except the moment Rook is in danger, every carefully drawn plan falls apart. Solas tears himself free from imprisonment only to find himself trapped in her orbit, and every truth he tried to outrun quickly catches up with them. After the companions rip them apart for their lies, Solas dares to seek Rook out, to talk about what happened.

Soon, he finds that the self-control he once prided himself on means very little when it comes to matters of the heart.
