“It is just like the Tokyo Tower,” Wakatoshi says, staring at the large structure made of iron and steel. The Tokyo Tower came after the Eiffel Tower, and was modeled after the Eiffel Tower, but it is painted red and white. Also, it is actually functional as a radio tower. The Eiffel Tower, as far as he knows, does not serve any other purpose besides being a national monument. “And we have that back in Japan. I do not see what all of the fuss is about.”
“They call that Paris syndrome,” Satori snorts, lazily waving his hand at the tower. “Where you get real disappointed and you start, like, hallucinating and sweating a lot when you visit Paris, ‘cause it’s nothing like what you thought it would be like. Happens a lot with Japanese tourists, did you know that? Because they build up Paris to be some grand thing in their mind, and then they get disappointed when they find out that it’s just like any other city.”
“I see.” Wakatoshi does not think he is currently suffering from Paris syndrome, because he did not expect too much out of the city. And in any case—how could he be disappointed when his best friend is with him?

i am literally signing in happiness at this fic. oh to confess to your best friend in paris!!! the city of love!!! and maybe it’s not all that people make it up to be, but it’s still so romantic <333 i love ushijima not having any strong feelings towards paris or the eiffel tower, and only really caring about tendou <333 him liking paris because it has tendou <333 i also love how blunt he confessed to tendou, and how tendou didn’t hesitate to confirm it with him. they are so freaking cute together!!! i love how tendou can read ushijima like an open book, and tendou makes ushijima feel so many gooey feelings <333 they are just too perfect!!!

“Ok.” Tobio says, also shyly, and what he really obviously wants to say instead is I can’t wait to see you, either.

i feel like im melting in happiness!! this was sooo sweet and i love seeing two people who love kageyama so dearly bond and talk about how much they have impacted him <333 i love kageyama being so comfortable with miwa and hinata, being more free with his expressions and feelings!!! him and hinata are sooo deeply in love with each other oh my goodness 😭😭😭 i love hinata being okay with miwa giving him a shovel talk and getting so stunned that she was thanking him instead HAHAHA!!! i am so glad kageyama is surrounded by so many people who love him <333

Summary
After a while Hinata walks his fingertips from Kageyama’s hair to the relaxed lines of his handsome face instead, setting out to lovingly map every part of it and Kageyama immediately tilts his head up, eyes still closed in apparent contentment, in order to give Hinata better access.
Hinata bites his bottom lip to stifle the laughter bubbling up his throat. He may or may not have married an actual cat.
“Hey, Tobio.” Hinata begins in a whisper, the lulling air in the room prompting him to speak in a gentle, hushed manner as well. Kageyama’s eyes twitch a little behind his lids and Hinata knows he’s listening. He says, “Thank you.”
(or; after Hinata and Kageyama return to Miyagi to celebrate Hinata's birthday with their families, the husbands find a quiet moment for themselves in the hot summer afternoon.)

this fic is sooo domestic and sweet, i just came stop smiling!!! hinata spending his birthday with his husband!!! and his family, having a slow and peaceful day in his childhood home means everything to me :,,) i love how kagehina are the same, but different. the same bickering and teasing of each other, but you can just feel how comfortable and in love they are!!! i am such a big fan of kageyama being so tactile and smiley around hinata <333 and of course hinata always showering kageyama with endless affection. they make me feel so giggly and happy!!! i just can’t cope with how sweet they are with each other <333

this seriously brought tears to my eyes oh i am so forever proud of hinata and the journey he has been to get to where he is today 😢😢😢 him retiring would hurt me so much but i know it’s inevitable and i know that he would’ve ended his career with so much success and good memories <333 i love how reflecting back on his years and all the things he has done to reach his goals 😢😢😢 and his words about kageyama made me sobbb because they are really one and intertwined. i love him sooo much 😢😢😢❤️❤️❤️
