Summary
emi's alternate canon, where haurchefant lives.
everyone's lives are altered as a result; multiple characters sustain permanent damage and disabilities. haurchefant himself remains in a coma from the vault until ultima thule, when the azem magic invoked by emi wakes him up as well.
estinien takes it upon himself to maintain a vigil over haurchefant in the intervening years, at first only leaving ishgard when absolutely required to. this isolation means neither he nor emi heal from the events of the dragonsong war, nor the horrors they experience later on.
emi in particular gets worse, internalizing her love as a threat to everyone who cares about her and stays with her.
also there's fun inner dragon soulmate stuff between her and estinien, as well as expansions-long slow burn. please look forward to it!
this canon is heavily inspired by deraviin's 'while you slept' au & builds off of it into its own thing :)

The collective works of lore for my Elezen BRD/MCH, Driochette Velois, starting from where she meets the Scions for the first time. I have her written as not remembering anything prior to the Calamity, merely waking up in Gridania one day and...going from there. Eventual Wolcred, but Wolmeric before then, and some bisexual chaos sprinkled in between. I will rate chapters/include CWs as I go.
