Summary
They say that once the sun sets on the village of Keldbrook Cross, something will whisper your name out in the forest. They say that if you get caught out at sunset, strange shapes will peer out at you from between the trees, stalking closer as the night grows darker. They say that if you walk the village streets at night, a tall black figure only known as the Keldbrook Ghost will walk with you.
Paranormal investigator and content creator Soap MacTavish heads to a small village in the English countryside with nothing but a rumor and a love of adventure to guide him. From the start, there's something different about this ghost hunt, and something different about the skull-faced creature that watches him from the shadows.

Soap didn't die in the tunnel that day. Eight years since he last saw Soap, Ghost's life is in ruins. All he has is a piece of paper with an address on it. He knows where he's going, he just isn't sure of the welcome when he gets there.
A fix it fic for the ending of MWIII (2023) but I hurt Ghost some more to do it. Sorry, buddy, but it was worth it. A tale of healing, growth, acceptance and love.

Summary
When Soap keeps coming back from leave covered in bruises, it's clear there's something wrong. It's down to Ghost to figure out what's going on - and how to help Soap. He's out of his depth but it becomes clear that he's Soap's only hope. Can he help him, and can Soap heal from what's been done to him?
(Spoiler alert - the answer is yes. We're all about the happy endings here, folks!)
Picks up just after the events in Verdansk, 2019, weaves through canon and ultimately serves as a fix it for the canon ending of MWIII.
