Summary
Sayu’s older brother disappeared and came back different. Between her own personal (possibly puberty related) hurdles and his many oddities, she’s not sure she’ll come out unscathed on the other side of this strange purgatory.
“What were you doing in the front yard?” Sayu asks before she loses her backbone. “Right before you left, I saw you in the yard.”
For a moment, Light doesn’t answer. He just stares, a haunting, eerie stare, his hand still curled around one of his backpack straps. His pupils are so small Sayu can barely see them, tiny pin pricks in the center of his molten gaze. After the chilling silence, Light’s lips form a wide smile that drips with foul mirth. “I was shooing off some stray cat. They’ve become a real problem, and they’re an invasive species.”
(apart of a series but can be read as a standalone with minimal confusion...... i think)

Rin felt forced to get in just to get the hell out of that party, even if it meant going to extraordinary lengths to ignore Charles and Shidou during the ride without blowing his brains out.
From then on, the first thing Sae saw when he woke up was a missed call from his parents and an online headline: "Young Blue Lock stars in car accident!"Or: Shidou, Rin, and Charles crash, and while Sae has to look after Rin, Shidou takes care of Charles, and everyone has plenty of time to reflect on their own feelings: Including Shidou and Sae, who have a relationship that is, to say the least, "strange."
