Bruce Wayne knows, as the vigilante Batman, that the superhero Superman is also the kryptonian Kal-El. But now he knows, as the billionaire Bruce Wayne, that Superman, the superhero, might also be the journalist Clark Kent. And the journalist Clark Kent knows the billionaire Bruce Wayne, but he doesn't know that he is the vigilante, Batman.
Or does he?
And is Bruce even sure that his inkling that the bumbling Kansas reporter moonlights as Superman, or vice versa, is right?
It's all very confusing. And the sleep-deprivation really isn't helping.
But surely, a little private dinner just to figure things out can't hurt right?
He's just trying to get to know Clark Kent a little better, that's it.

Summary
The Siren of Eventide Island is a legend that pirates and sailors tell each other. They say she lures sailors to their doom, and that men who follow her voice never come back.
Link’s always been fascinated by the story. He feels the pull towards her island, even though he’s never heard her song. One day he sees her through his spyglass, and the image of her silhouette in the afternoon sun is burned into his brain like a brand.
She pulls him out to sea, and he goes willingly.
.....
He walks forward, taking another step, and then another, until the blade of her knife brushes against the cloth of his shirt.
“Go ahead,” he says, lifting an eyebrow. He watches the graceful lines of her throat contract as she swallows. She looks down at the silver blade in her hands, then meets his gaze again, defiance burning behind her eyes.
“Why did you come here?”
He shrugs one shoulder.
“Curiosity.”
The word is wholly inadequate to describe the force that had drawn him here.
“You would throw your life away so easily?”
“It isn’t worth much.”
