The depth of the yearning and longing in this fic is so exquisite that i think my chest is like semi-permanently caved in or has simply imploded from the intensity of my emotions and how i want to scream every time something happens in this fic. this was a fucking roller coaster in the best way. love love love this author's work 4eva. the whole time reading this all i'm thinking is how it would feel if my writing prowess was on the same level as the author's. like wish i wrote this 💯. srsly, how the fuck do u even write like this?!!?!😮💨🚬 while reading this fic, i feel like i've also been through years yearning and being in love with a non-existent best friend🤣 the relationships and friendships in this fic is also so profoundly written like ughhh i can't explain it. Jay groans. “This is hysterical. You don’t even wanna hang out with him because he’s Jake’s boyfriend. You wanna hang out with him because he’s pretty.”
Sunghoon is too busy fussing with Jay about what he can and can’t do, failing to notice Heeseung immediately lighting up and Jake face palming once again.
“You think I’m pretty?” Heeseung asks in awe.
“Darling,” Jake whines, now completely facing Heeseung. “Darling, I call you pretty all the time.”
“But Sunghoonie is cute. He’s like a baby.” Heeseung puffs his cheeks in annoyance, glancing between his boyfriend and Sunghoon. “When babies say you’re pretty, don’t you feel flattered?”
“But Sunghoon isn’t a baby,” Jake wails. “He’s like twenty years old!”
Sunghoon thinks Heeseung is really pretty. Heeseung thinks Sunghoon is very cute. Jay and Jake absolutely hate where this is going.
