Summary
After the loss of his job in the big city, Jihoon finds his way back to the small town he escaped from years ago. He expected the place to be exactly the same as he left it. What he didn't expect was that his unnatural tolerance for alcohol would bring him closer to the local bar owner, and his new roommate, Seungcheol.

Summary
The two men that enter—Lanky and Large, Jihoon christens them fondly—are not the same ones who bundled him into the van. They’re better dressed and not quite as dumb looking. Not grunts then, but lieutenants.
They take opposite sides of the room, so Jihoon can’t really watch both of them at the same time, but he quickly determines Large is the one he needs to appeal to here, and not just because he’s...well, built like he pretzels spines for a living.Out of the two of them, he’s clearly the guy in charge.

Summary
Jihoon has no idea what he should be doing here.
If the Bureau has a Standard Operating Procedure in place, to direct him on what to do in the extremely unlikely event he crash lands on a deserted island with a highly dangerous criminal, he’s never read it.
Other than sit tight and wait for rescue (and keep an eye on Seungcheol in case he somehow succeeds in building a raft and rowing away) he’s at a loss.It certainly doesn’t help that Seungcheol doesn’t see himself as a prisoner, and thus fails to subscribe to any of the typical prisoner behaviours one would expect. Sure, he might fashion himself a wicked looking knife out of scrap metal and leather, spend an hour sharpening it while he stares menacingly into the middle distance, but then he’ll go use that knife to make Jihoon a parasol out of palm tree fronds and insist he sit under it because—
“No offence, but you’re paler than a daikon radish. Until we get our hands on some sun block, you need to stay in the shade. In fact, here, take my shirt.”
It seems stupid to stay on your toes around a guy who is literally prepared to give you the shirt off his back.

Jihoon just turned 21, and he already feels like his life is going wrong. He's dropped out of university, moved back home with his brothers, Seokmin is a wreck, Chan somehow has a baby, and his childhood crush has gotten unfairly hotter.
