Summary
After giving up as a hero at long last, Izuku finds himself lost as he approaches high school. But, after thinking that it couldn’t possibly get worse, his life is completely derailed when he ends up in the midst of a villain attack with his mother. Manifesting a quirk he didn’t know he had, he was able to fend off the villain, at the price of the villain’s life. But, after it all, Inko Midoriya died far before the paramedics could get to her, all that was left of her being the last words she uttered to him.
After that, his life was in disarray. His purpose was gone, and the one person that had always been there for him was gone too. Even though Izuku ends up in the care of a small foster home, would that really be enough to quell that hole in his heart, one that seemed to be growing bigger by the day?
Or maybe he could find something else that fill that cavern with. A purpose. Something exhilarating, something illegal, something dangerous. A way he could actually feel useful. He did awaken a quirk, after all, and there was no way he could be a hero. Why not use it to actually do some good?

After the death of his mother, Izuku becomes a vigilante in hopes of rewriting his regrets.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku has a few secrets.
He has just acquired a Quirk, survived three months on his own after his mother’s sudden disappearance, and learned very quickly that it was up to him to find her, none of which makes it onto his UA paperwork.
By day, he is a first-year hero student with a self-destructive Quirk, a habit of muttering, and a homeroom teacher who has already written him off as a liability.
By night, he is the Analyst, (or more endearingly known as Sodapop) an information broker for the Blind Spot, a pink parlor masquerading as a bar, makeshift hospital, and neutral ground for criminals, vigilantes, and underground pros who pay good money for information.
But soon he is stuck being fostered by none other than his homeroom and English teacher. And what's more, Izuku must juggle school, secrets, and a family he never planned to have, all while digging deeper into things he should keep his nose out of to bring Midoriya Inko home.

Summary
Izuku went through a lot of phases as a kid. Dinosaurs. Quantum physics. Pre-quirk ducks. Being a hero (though that one stuck). And that, combined with an active imagination and few friends had left him with more than a few fond memories of playing pretend during the summer he spent with his father while his mother gained her Villain Response Team certificate.
At five, he’d been so lonely that he’d concocted an imaginary quirk that let him create fog and even clouds when the hot sun became too oppressive at Dad's summer estate. Sue him, he’d had a meteorology phase too.
At twelve, he could explain the longing that defined his childhood fantasies.
At thirteen, he desperately clung to the words his Father whispered into his ears that summer before he had become too busy for his quirkless son.
But at fourteen, when he awoke panting with One For All crackling at his fingertips, he could not explain the low hanging fog, no clouds, that covered his bedroom.
