Summary
Anna Woolverton has heard the stories about the mountains around the village of Wodestalk. Abandoned for ten years after the deaths of the family that owned the land and overridden with monsters, few people venture up the mountain and fewer still return. She thinks she can make one quick trip into the area, do a little hunting and return with her father none the wiser. But when an injury forces her to seek shelter in the old manor house, she finds that the house isn't as abandoned as she thinks, and at least one of the Bennison family is still alive, though changed beyond all recognition.

Summary
When Stella Rogers finds a strange woman by the garbage cans in front of her apartment on a cold night in February of 1943, she can hardly believe that the woman--Phyllis Coulson--can really be from the future. Nor does it help when Phyllis won't tell Stella about the future or why she's come back to the past, though she claims not to know the reason. And could it really be coincidence that Phyllis said Stella's soulmate phrase?
The last thing Phyllis Coulson expected when chasing after a HYDRA operative was to find herself thrown into the past and into the path of the woman she's idolized her entire life. She needs to figure it out soon, however, as the fate of the future--and of Stella Rogers--may depend on it.
With the fate of the world hanging in the balance, the only people Stella and Phyl can trust are each other, even when that seems difficult and when the pull of something between them threatens to get in the way.

Okay, sure. So, there was a word for people who didn’t find other people sexy. Great. A normal word. A well-known word. And not a medical condition.
But surely whoever wrote this understood that it was an anomaly. There weren’t enough people like this to warrant a label. After all, what was the point of a human who didn’t want sex?
(What was the point of me? — I’d asked a hundred times before.)
Or: A heteronormative movie adaptation, a very weird BuzzFeed article, and an internet rabbit hole lead Grace to the discovery of a label sixty years in the making.

Summary
After nearly starving to death on the way to Erid, Grace is relieved to find that most of the Eridians welcome him with open arms and kindness. They help him with nutrition and a biodome and a teaching position he can find pride in.
The key word, of course, being "most".
When Grace ends up being stalked by an Eridian with a nasty penchant for despising humans, he has to fight for his life in order to survive on the only planet he has left to call home.
