Summary
Keith and Lance grow up together as Princes in neighboring kingdoms. Betrothed at a young age, they go in and out of having a close friendship. Their rocky relationship ends once they have a huge fight, one that has Keith and his mother leaving Lance's kingdom presumably for good.
They are ambushed by the dark lord Zarkon, Queen Krolia is left critically injured and Prince Keith is kidnapped by the warlock. Lance gets to their carriage too late, only briefly speaking to Krolia before she enters a comatose state.
"The large beast...it took him...my boy. Find him Lance. Please."
Months pass, it isn't looking good for the Queen's recovery. Everyone has given up searching for Prince Keith, assuming him to be long dead.
All except Lance.

Lance is the bassist of his Band 'Falling Space Boys' who are invited to perform at the Converse 'Hooked Tour' alongside their newfound fame. Whilst meeting the band 'Our Galactic Tragedy', Lance meets Keith, who seems to have a problem with him from the start. The pair always bickering throughout the summer. Lance whilst chasing dreams of a forgotten memory and battling with Keith, trying to make the most of this long summer.

Lance leaned his back against the door. His eyelids drooped. “Nah, I’m good. It’s not like I’m your boyfriend or whatever.”
Keith blinked, taking in the words.
“Yeah.” He felt his eyes burn, looking down.
Lance opened the door and strolled out. “Goodnight, Keith.”
