Ed stretched, his one flesh arm knocking gently against Al’s head. Al had never really noticed how much his big brother searched for little touches when he himself couldn’t feel. But now he could and he realized he’d forgotten how much he also liked little physical contacts.
"I’mma take a nap," said his brother. "Good night, Al."
Al smiled, and he had forgotten how the muscles felt tightening around his cheeks, but maybe, just maybe, with his brother at his side, he could remember.

Summary
Sabo took what felt like the hundredth deep breath of the day, and finally jumped off of his already tied up boat onto the railing of one of the most infamous pirate ships around.
Someone screeched, and he saw a man —Vista? He was pretty sure that was his name— trip over his own two feet and faceplant in, apparently, pure surprise. It was kind of valid, despite having thought about his entrance for over two hours, Sabo hadn’t really chosen the best option. But in his defense, he wasn’t sure there was a best option, or even a good one for that matter.
“Ah… hello,” very smooth, “I’m not here to pick a fight,” a great continuation, truly. Koala would have hit him so damn hard if she had heard.

.The war went a little different. The papers did not report it all that differently though, and Sabo is determined to figure it out.

He was running before he realised what he was doing.
All the while, he still didn't know why he had to get there. But deep down, something told him that if he didn't get there in time, he couldn't- wouldn't- live with it. He just couldn't. Pain ruptured across his head. Sabo gritted his teeth and mentally shoved it to the back of his mind. He jumped up, so close yet- He watched as Luffy reached forward from his position on the floor, his hands reaching towards a piece of paper. A paper that was burning fast.
