Summary
Everyone says that there are different way to grieve over the lost. While Akechi is technically lost, Akira likes to believe that his fate is ambiguous rather than him just being dead, but, besides that, he's allowed to grieve a little bit for his missing in action (but not dead!) friend, or rival, or enemy, or whatever you called it.
The usual way people start to mourn is through contemplation and funerals and/or other events like that. However, there's no corpse to hold a funeral for, and it feels strange to have a funeral for a very much not dead person that isn't present to be a hypothetical corpse.
So, Akira bakes a cake to mourn.

Summary
Before Ren went to Tokyo, the people in Inaba liked him. In the jigsaw puzzle that was all of Inaba’s inhabitants, he fit in just like all the rest of the pieces.
When Ren came back from Tokyo, the people in Inaba held him at a distance, regarding him with fear and hatred. He was a tossed aside puzzle piece, a spare that didn't fit in with the picture.

Ren does not have a good life after going back to Inaba, maybe he'll decide to fix it if he can even muster the will.

Summary
Sebastian was one step away from freedom, then some idiotic expendables decided to drag him back to Urbanshade. The expendables got executed, but Sebastian did not.
Urbanshade still wants him to cooperate with them.
Somewhere else, Arlo dates a fish.
Both of them make a wish, to return back to their normal and not die in the process (one due to excessive wounds and the other due to all the genetic mutations).
Instead of going back to normal, their lives intersect.
