Summary
Thank you RimaPichi for this lovely commission!
After Rapunzel turns down his request for help, Varian returns to Old Corona only to find his father petrified in amber. Devastated, he vows to find a solution himself at the risk of his own health, having already taken ill from the raging blizzard outside. He overworks himself into collapse and is subsequently found by Rapunzel, Eugene and Cassandra, who decide to make things right by looking after him, even with tensions running high between them.
In other words: AU where Varian doesn't go 0-100 and become a villain, and the force of logic is (somewhat) observed because there's no way he ran around in a blizzard by himself and didn't come back at least a little sniffly.

Summary
Gotham was literally cursed but no one believed Bruce. He took it upon himself to fix it and after decades of searching, that solution came to him in the form of a little blue vial. Bruce was to take the curse within himself to temper it into something manageable.
He thinks the others would call him stupid and stop him if they knew about this, but (un)fortunately for Bruce, his family hasn't spoken to him for forever. There was no one here to stop him.
He downed the liquid and woke up as his nine-year-old self.
Ch3 Excerpt:
“Mother, do you remember those funny clouds above people’s heads I told you about? Well, I’m doing something about them but the process is very lonely. Or not. I think it’s just me. I’m the problem. I can’t seem to get people to like me enough to stay. I know–-… I’m aware that it’s due to my own shortcomings but sometimes, it feels like even the worst monsters have people that love them and yet I have no one.”
Bruce let out a humourless chuckle and rested his forehead on his knees.
“I just wish there was someone that cared about me.”

Summary
He is trying to think about ways to make himself disappear as stealthy as he can when someone sits right next to him. He doesn’t remember crossing his arms on the wooden countertop and smushing his face between them, but he knows it’s not Alfred next to him.
Dark blue slacks of opaque polyester, gray trainers, a leather messenger bag. It takes him way more than usual to connect the dots, but the second he does he snaps his head up, trying not to fall from his seat.“Oh, I’m sorry, didn’t mean to scare you.”
Clark.

Summary
“God, I’m horrified, Bruce. I can’t close my eyes without thinking about it, without seeing you—“ His hands stay half-lifted, as if to ward off the memory. His chest heaves, eyes darting away, unwilling or unable to meet Bruce’s gaze fully. “You looked so afraid of me.”
And how can Bruce possibly admit to Clark that he was without Clark twisting it into fuel for more self loathing? That feeling his own painfully human fragility frightened him more than he imagined it could; that the knowledge he allowed someone with the power to kill him in seconds this close, every single day, ran counter to everything he had ever stood for, everything he had built himself upon, without Clark hearing regret in every word?
“It wasn’t you.”
”It was my hands.” Clark’s voice cracks.
or : hit with a fear toxin specifically targeting him, clark doesn't know how to cope in the aftermath of hurting the person he cares for most
