Summary
They had only come to the Conclave to talk to the Divine. The plan was get in, speak their point, and get out before anyone got any ideas, but Anders can't remember past entering the temple and now there's a mysterious and painful mark on his left hand, the Conclave has been destroyed, and Hawke is missing and presumed dead. Held at knife-point to help fix this mess, he has no choice but to comply. After all he has one more reason left to live and he'll do anything to see it safe.
Becoming the Herald of Andraste was the least of the titles Anders thought he'd ever get stuck with.
The Maker sure had a sense of humor in dishing out punishments.

Dorian had called a carriage, to take them out of the stinking city and off to his home, somewhere outside of Minrathous. Anders peered through the window eagerly, drinking in his surroundings. They were coming along a wide, smooth graveled drive up a hill, at the top of which was a stately, sprawling mansion. The drive was long and doubled, and there was an ornate garden in the center, with fountains, statues, benches and at least a hundred planted beds filled with flowers.
"Welcome to the ancient seat of House Pavus, my friend."
Anders tried to suppress his surprise, probably failing utterly. This was the home of the man who had just asked him if he, Anders the fugitive apostate, was serious about his affections. No one who lived in a mansion like that could possibly be serious about Anders. But somehow, strangely, he was.
He was more certain than ever that he was dreaming.

After a desperate healing attempt goes haywire, Anders and Fenris try to get to the bottom of what caused the chaotic reaction. Summary
Fenris discovers that his feelings for Anders may not hold as much contempt as he originally thought. They begin to explore their relationship and just as it seems things couldn't be more perfect, a woman arrives with an unbelievable tale. There is much to adjust to and even more to be done, but this unknown woman is not what either of them expected and holds the key to Fenris' lost past. Furthermore, she holds frightening knowledge of the future and seeks their aid in an attempt to stop Fen'Harel from achieving his reign of chaos.
Story starts somewhere in act 2, but timeline jumps around event wise.
I've tried to establish my timeline of events based on what I could find online. (Historically speaking) so if you find blips in it, I do apologize, but every site seems to vary a bit, so this it what I've settled with.
Expect paragraphing and punctuation to be terrible :P None the less, I'm having a lot of fun with this, so I hope you enjoy it. :)
Oh yes, if you do not enjoy reading smut, the chapters are marked with a * and you can easily skip over them without missing out on the story line.

Apparently it’s traditional to do this... somewhat literally. I don’t get the sense that it’s universally desired, but,” she shrugs a little, “we’re all floundering here. Rebuilding a republic out of a dictatorship isn’t easy.”
“I’m not getting the problem here, Leia. So they want it all in writing?”
She lays it out for him, and Luke can’t say he didn’t ask for it. “They want someone from the New Republic to become the new Mand’alor’s consort. Essentially, they want a hostage.”Luke wants the New Republic to back and fund his plans for the new Jedi Order, Bo-Katan wants Mandalore to rise to its previous glory, Leia wants a system of governance that is functional, and Din wants a nap.
